Currently, Primark is offering a £7 handbag that has been likened to a £2,500 Prada counterpart. The high street company has produced a metallic shoulder bag that is advertised as suitable for ‘festive nights out’.
The store is notorious for selling low-cost apparel and accessories that appear to be designer knockoffs. One Primark customer used TikTok to show off her fancy knockoff purse.
According to the Echo, @perriesian flaunted her purchase to her 341,000 followers. She likened the purse to the Prada Cleo brushed shoulder bag on the social networking platform.
“Guys,” Perrie said. I caused a lot of damage in Primark. I received some great hidden treasures. First and foremost, I received this adorable little bag. This reminds me of the Prada Cleo purse, and I believe it is a knockoff. £7, I simply thought this would be perfect for Christmas or seasonal nights out.”
Primark’s High Shine Shoulder Bag has ‘contrasting stitch details and a glossy finish’ and costs £2,493 less than Prada’s. While Perrie chose metallic silver, it is also available in metallic pink and metallic blue.
Perrie also included one of Primark’s popular £14 unitards in her haul, telling followers: “One of my favourite Primark stores to date!!!!! I received so many wonderful parts!!.” “You take my shopping addiction to a whole new level,” TikToker Emma Bisseker said.
