Drummond first announced her apparel line’s launch in 2020. For years, fans had been seeking a Pioneer Woman clothing line, so she finally decided to offer them what they desired.
“The idea has been in my head for many years, but in recent months, the reality of it has started to fall into shape, and I’m so excited!” Drummond told The Pioneer Woman magazine in the 2020 issue. “I began by deciding on the shapes of the pieces—length, detailing, and how they fit.”
“Then I focused on colour and design,” Drummond continued. It’s critical to me that the apparel be beautiful and of high quality, but also reasonable. I’m aiming to launch the clothes at The Mercantile this fall, both in-store and online.”
When Drummond shared a photo of one of her outfits, followers frequently asked where she got her blouses. They would also request that she launch her own clothes line. Drummond already sold tops at The Mercantile, but the Pioneer Woman’s ardent fans want more.
Drummond announced fresh additions to her fashion collection on Instagram. She declared herself “in love” with the new line. The post includes a variety of boots and handbags. She promises that new apparel will be added soon.
“The PW fashion game is kicking off this spring with the cutest/prettiest handbags, shoes, jewellery, and ahem…boots!” Drummond wrote on Instagram. “I’m in love, I’m in love, and it doesn’t matter who knows. New designs, new approach (just wait until you see the clothing in a few weeks!) and it’s going to be a lot of fun! The link to everything new is in my profile. “I hope you find something that brings you joy!”
Drummond told People about her Walmart apparel brand and the items she prefers to wear. Despite having shed a large amount of weight, the Accidental Country Girl prefers to wear loose clothing. She prefers to be at ease.
“I discovered that I like the same clothing,” Drummond adds. “My size is a little smaller, but I still like the [loose] shapes. A little ruffles here and there. Waistband with an empire waist. I still like the loose fit with just enough tailored accents to keep me from looking like I’m wearing curtains. It’s still quite flattering. I’m still a fan of the same look.”
The new Pioneer Woman merchandise was well received by fans. Fans rushed to Instagram and Facebook to express themselves. One Facebook enthusiast compared the white boots to those worn by dancing teams during football games. Another admirer simply stated, “I love this!”
Although many admirers were blown away by the collection, others were less than happy. Some Pioneer Woman goods, according to one devotee, have a “elderly lady” atmosphere. “Let’s see something more cosmopolitan,” one commentator said.
